Mowing & Trimming

We offer full service mowing. mowing includes trimming, edging and blowing off of clippings from porches, sidewalks and roadways.

Mulching

Mulching is offered in early spring and late fall. We have multiple suppliers and can accommodate a multitude of colors. Mulch is priced by the yard installed. delivery is included in the pricing

Bush & Shrub Trimming

We offer seasonal trimming and pruning of bushes, shrubs and hedges. Prices are by the plant and include removal of all debris and greenwaste.

Sod

We offer sod installation in the early fall. We work with local sod farms to assure you a lawn that is well acclimated to our climate here in east TN. Sod is priced by the pallet and will include installation and delivery.

Annual & Perennial Flowers

We offer both spring and fall annual flowers to our customers. These are great additions to any lawn and landscape and come in a variety of colors. Flower installation is priced by the flat.

Tree and Shrub Installation

We offer year round installation of trees, shrubs, bushes and hedges.

Installation is priced per plant and will include labor, delivery and materials.

Tree Pruning

We offer year round tree trimming and pruning. Due to insurance, we are limited to trees under 15ft in height.

Trimming and pruning are priced by the tree and will include the removal of all greenwaste.

Fertilizing

Fertilizing is offered in early spring and early fall. Our fertilizing schedules generally coincide with our aeration and overseeding, as these three are generally done together. Fertilizing is priced per 1000 sq. ft.

Aerating & Overseeding

These services are offered in the early to mid fall of every year. aeration is needed to prevent soil compaction and allows for optimum uptake of vital nutrients your lawn needs to build a strong root base before going dormant in late winter. Over seeding is done at the same time to provide a thick, lush lawn for the next spring.

Greenwaste Removal

We offer removal services for your green waste. Green waste includes any organic, compostable material such as trees, lawn clippings, branches, bushes, leaves, etc. All green waste collected by Forks of the River is taken to a composting facility where it is recycled.Green waste removal is charged by the yard.

Leaves

Starting in fall, we offer leaf blow out and clean up. we can either mulch them with our mowers, leaving them to add nutrients and organic material to your lawn, or we can blow them to the roadside where the city with vacuum, shred and recycle them.

Rock & Gravel

we offer an assortment decorative rock available to installation. we have multiple suppliers for lava rocks, pea gravel, crushed stone, varies sizes of river stones. rock is priced by the ton delivered and installed.

Topsoil

we offer delivery and installation of screened topsoil. Topsoil is priced by the yard delivered.

Chips and Nuggets

We offer delivery and installation of wood chips and bark nuggets. These are wonderful alternatives to mulch or straw. chips and nuggets are sold by the yard, delivered and installed

Compost

We offer year round sale of high quality compost and raw manure. We have an exclusive contract with a local producer. Our compost consist of hay, straw, sawdust and horse manure. material is raw aged for 3 months before being loaded into 12 yard, forced air composters where it is aged for another 8 weeks. Compost is wonderful for gardens, flowers and lawns. Compost is sold by the yard, delivered.

Large Field Mowing

We offer seasonal large acreage mowing. This is commonly referred to as bush hogging. This mowing is done by a large tractor and a rough cut mower, flail mower or high compacity finish mower. Large acreage mowing is priced by the hour.

Wheat & Pine Straw

Wheat straw is offered as an insulator for grass seed in bare spots. wheat straw is tubular so it does not compact making it wonderful for new seeding of total lawn replacements. Pine straw is offered as an ornamental. It smells amazing and looks just as good. All straw is priced by the bale and will include delivery and installation.
